About the Author:
Elizabeth Stansfield has taught grades K-8 in both public and Christian schools for over thirty years in Oregon, Maryland and California. She earned the B.S. in Elem Ed from Southern Oregon University, and the M.Ed. from the University of Oregon. She is the mother of a daughter, Laura Nell, currently teaching English in South Korea, and a son, Craig, currently teaching Spanish and Photography in southern California. She is married to Leon Stansfield. She shared the responsibility of caring for Leon's parents during the years 2001-2008 until their deaths.
